CUSTOM PRINTED TEA LABELS WITH FOIL STAMPING (METALLIC EFFECT)
Add more depth, polished detail, and lustrous elegance to your custom printed tea labels with foil stamping. This special process uses pressure to transfer metallic foil onto the surface of your paper label stock.
Choose to highlight specific parts of your label artwork, or foil the entire label to get an overall metallic sheen for a high end look. Just make sure the lines aren’t too thin as anything under 1pt can’t be foiled cleanly.
NOTE: Foil stamping is different from our foil labels. Foil stamping does not utilize metallic-looking inks, rather it uses an extremely thin foil sheet and printing plates to create the metallic imprints.

CUSTOM PRINTED TEA LABELS WITH EMBOSSING (RAISED EFFECT)

Cut down cost first; gold or silver foil and embossing can come later once you’re sure that your customers know you and your brand has been established.
When you are sure your tea bag labels are the perfect size and shape, you can add special finishing touches for the next press run.
A simple addition of another artboard to specify design elements that need to be highlighted can revitalize your new tea labels going forward.
If you choose uncoated paper tea labels, remember that they don’t have any protective coating on them, which means that tea labels are neither waterproof nor moisture-proof.
This lends to a shorter life span in terms of ink rubbing off and tea labels getting damaged with moisture. If you choose uncoated paper for your custom labels material, remember that these tea labels fade more quickly because they are not reinforced by laminate.
If you’d like to keep the uncoated paper finish, add matte laminate to give your tea labels some protection against wear and tear; however shiny gloss laminate will do a better job at this.

One big thing to keep in mind: As the stock is not white, colors will print darker due to the brown paper base color.
Your artwork previously printed on white stock will translate differently on this stock, and there is less contrast unless you adjust your color values.
Especially if it is your first press run, we suggest that you test colors first by doing a HARD PROOF to see if your tea labels colors turn out accurately with the new brown stock.
