Your File Preparation Checklist for Custom Tissue Paper Printing

  • Preferred File Type: Layered .PDF: This allows our team to easily check and report any potential issues. (We can also work with .TIFF, .EPS, .PSD, and .AI files – just pay extra attention to the points below.)
  • Text Accuracy is Key: Please proofread all text for typos and grammatical errors. We want your message to be perfect, and we don’t alter your original text files.
  • CMYK for Vivid Prints: Set your images, objects, and overall file color mode to CMYK. This is essential for vibrant digital printing.
  • High-Resolution Images: For crisp prints on your custom tape, ensure all raster images are at least 350dpi.
  • Visible Lines: Your lines should be a minimum of 1.5pt or 0.5mm thick to print clearly.
  • Clean PDF Export: When exporting your PDF, do not include any printer’s crop marks or registration marks.
  • Outline Your Fonts: Always outline all fonts to prevent any font-related issues during production.
  • Correct Sizing is Crucial: Ensure your artwork matches the exact width of your packaging tape, with accurate proportions for optimal print quality.
  • Seamless Repeat Matters: Make sure your design elements are grouped and aligned properly so the artwork can repeat cleanly across the tape without misalignment or awkward breaks.
  • Mind the Margins: For standard orders, include a 2–5mm safety print margin on all sides of your tape artwork. Bleeds are not required.
