HOW TO USE WHITE INK STRATEGICALLY

To avoid design errors on holographic foil, white ink can be used in four ways:

This will develop the actual ink colors that you want and will highlight important text or images, especially since the signature holographic material is already a design element in itself.
  • WHAT YOU GET: Areas with white ink underprinting will take on the color of your choosing, while areas without white ink will take on the appearance of silver. The whole label will uniformly reflect its signature rainbow sheen.
  1. Highlights/Selectively using White Ink Underprinting with Colored Ink Overprinting: Place a layer of white ink underneath specific art elements to increase opacity and cancel out the silver base material color.   • Text Accuracy is Key: Please proofread all text for typos and grammatical errors. We want your message to be perfect, and we don’t alter your original text files.
  • CMYK for Vivid Prints: Set your images, objects, and overall file color mode to CMYK. This is essential for vibrant digital printing.
  • Add a 3mm Bleed: Crucial for professional-looking edges, remember to add a 3mm bleed on all sides.
  • High-Resolution Images: For crisp, clear custom holographic labels, ensure all raster images are at least 350dpi.
  • Visible Lines: Your lines should be a minimum of .57pt or 0.2mm thick to print clearly.
