Labeling Tapered Candle Containers? Read This First.
Not sure if your container is tapered?
Here’s a quick test: Hold a straight ruler against the side. If there’s a gap near the bottom, your container tapers inward.
For tapered candle containers, you will need a uniquely shaped label.
The actual candle label must have a slightly curved shape to accommodate the taper so that your custom candle label looks “straight” when it is applied on the jar, compensating for the angled surface.
If you use standard rectangle labels, these will surely wrinkle when applied, distorting the artwork (images and text) of your candle label.
